Hi! My name is Leif and I am the head of the Mixed Reality team at Fraunhofer FIT, where I also did my Post-Doc. Here is a YouTube-playlist of some of our work.

Prior to that I was a PhD student at the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham. My main interest was in Pervasive Games and the infrastructure and workflows needed to get them running. There is a seperate page here about my PhD-Thesis.

I originally studied Mediainformatics in Wernigerode, focussing on interactive systems, computer graphics, multi-disciplinary team-work, and Augmented Reality. Here is a video of my thesis project from 2003: ARToolkit and ARGUI: Low-cost Augmented Reality with Interactive Surfaces in 3D.

This blog was once mainly used for thesis related posts, but is now more on the topic of Amiga retro-computing. I am a member of the demoscene group Haujobb.

You can also find me on LinkedIn, Twitter, and GitHub.
